This is a test. This is only a test. This blog is conducting a test of the Weekly Report entry of a homeschooler’s blog.  In the event of an actual Weekly Report, the reader would find lists and photographs and well-written summaries of all things accomplished during the past seven days.

For now, I’ll just say that we’re doing fine so far.

Just another homeschooling mom jumping on that blogging bandwagon to document and share the highlights of raising my two boys.

You should know right up front, dear reader, that my real motivation for blogging is not you. It’s me. I’m kind of selfish that way.

And kind of lazy, too. I can’t seem to get back into the scrapbooking thing, what with all the cutting and embellishing and what-have-you. Blogging seems to be the lazy (busy?) woman’s answer to scrapbooking.   

I’m hoping to do that Weekly Reporter thing that I see other homeschoolers from the Well-Trained Mind forum do; and I really, really, really want to do the Green Hour challenges from Barb at Harmony Fine Arts. So this is an accountability thing too. Yes, an accountability scrapbook; that’s what I’m doing here. 

Other than that, an occasional brag on the boys, a snarky comment or two about, well . . . whatever I’m feeling snarky toward, and quotes that amuse, bewilder, and inspire me.  Like this one:
